I've written some books.
I've edited some books too.
Some of them, I have published.
One of them has been published by an outside source.
One of them is available to be published.
I will list them here.
Fly Girls and Other Poems -- My first book of poetry. Most of the poems in this book were written in response to prompts provided to me by friends and strangers. The "Fly Girls" in the title are women who gave me something to wrote about, and then I wrote for them. The book is self-published through lulu.com.
Voices from the Euclid Public Library and Voices from the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center -- I didn't write these books--I edited them. They're products of my time working with youth in Cleveland. I'm particularly proud of the Detention Center book, which was written by a group of young women over the course of a week-long writing workshop inside the center. These books are being sold at cost (and can be downloaded for free)--the words of these women deserve to be heard.
The Trophy Thieves: A High School Love Story -- My first published play. The good folks at Playscripts also handle amateur licensing for the script, so if you want to do a production of a ridiculous play about high school, love, and all that good stuff, follow that link above.
And finally...there have been rumors floating around that a novelized version of Welcome to Arroyo's exists. This seems like as good a place as any to address those rumors: they are, indeed, true. I'm in the process of shopping the novel. For more information, contact me.
